It was not until I suffered greatly from a debilitating condition to the point of nearly fading out from a total body crash to making a declaration out of desperation. I wanted to live, yet I yelled at the Universe, “take me or heal me, I can’t do this anymore!”
I was pulled from the ashes, like a Phoenix rising, putting me on a path of awakening. This propelled me into understanding we are spirits living the human experience. Life is the master teacher!
Living authentically became my quest and journey to self-discovery, self-acceptance, and an unbreakable love for the person I was born to be. It has been an incredible journey of discovery, unlearning, re-learning, deep dives and coming to terms with the life I had before is now a transformational journey into a life filled with wisdom gained and an indefinite thirst for more.
The autonomy stage is rarely fully developed as we move through our childhood into adulthood. Therefore, most adults are seeking to align with their authentic self. Many do not have a clue as to who this person is. Years upon years are spent spinning wheels and wondering, “why am I here?
The answer is always within, yet most look externally for the validation. I was guided, and sometimes I feel as if forced, to shift my perspective in order to truly honor my spirit within. The warrior, the goddess, the healer and the wise woman (a native American shaman). All these parts of myself has a purpose within my life purpose I was born to fulfill.
Often, through the trials and tribulations, I would ask, “why me?”
The turning point came when I began to listen, not with my ears, but with my heart. Seeing the gifts and beauty of being ME. The value of what each of us brings to the greater world is unmatched and cannot be taken away from us. My self-actualization came through the breakdown into the breakthrough, bringing strength for unwavering confidence, impeccable courage and definitive clarity.
The world can be our biggest volunteer to open us up to what is yet to come. Something that is larger than life, yet at the microscopic level, brings us to our knees. I cried, and cried and cried, for the loss of what I had and the life I knew. The letting go was painful while the pull to push through the stress point was not going to allow me the opportunity to fall back into the abyss of a world that was not in my best interest.
As soon as the acceptance took hold and after hours, days, years of meditation, intention, mindfulness, prayers and study, I finally crossed the threshold of one paradigm into the next. This new place of awareness bring joy, peace and hapiness.
I am a guiding light show people the way.
My purpose is clear, love for myself and others is deeply rooted in the All That Is, a place of unconventional love. This is available 24/7 to any and everyone. I find comfort in knowing the trek I have been on, although lonely attime, is filled with blessings. Helping others to live their best lives, and also awakening them to their true selves, sparking them to take the next step and fearlessly face the future.
I know my success in overcoming that which holding me back and becoming a better version of myself , always continueing the process to rise higher and soar. I wrote poem in 2014 and I wish to share it with you today and may you also rise like the Pheonix, soar above the mountains and reach the pinnacle of who you are meant to be.
Spread your wings,
Fly high.
Above the winds,
Into the sky.The world is yours to fully embrace,
Higher and higher, with infinite grace.
Feel the lightness in the air,
Lifting your spirit beyond all cares.Be the light from within
That shines so bright,
And let your life begin
On this earthly plane.Know your purpose and passion,
Over the hills, again and again.
Be brave and strong,
Like the winds of change—
East, North, South, and West.The rising tides,
With the moon arise,
